The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 is a joint development between NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International Co. Ltd.) and JRM (JR Motorsports), who are responsible for manufacturing, production and sales in Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Cars destined for these territories will be produced by JRM at their Daventry technical facility, with each one built to order and to customer specifications.
"The delivery of this first batch of three cars represents the culmination of eighteen months development, testing, engineering and manufacturing", said JRM Managing Director Andy Barnes. "We are delighted to have supplied the final specification cars to our first customers in advance of the 2012 season and we look forward to seeing them in action and fighting for podiums, which is where we fully expect them to be."

The first Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 off the production line was delivered to RJN Motorsport - the team responsible for running the winners of the Nissan Playstation GT Academy. The car will enter this year's Blancpain Endurance series - which features six races in Europe - with drivers Alex Buncombe, Chris Ward and winner of Nissan's GT Academy in 2011 Jann Mardenborough.
The RJN car's first competitive outing will be this weekend, when Buncombe and Mardenborough take part in the opening round of the British GT Championship at Oulton Park, the team using the event as a shake-down for the season ahead.
