TVR is sold back to British interests, igniting the rumors about a full comeback...
TVR is a small British independent sports cars manufacture. In 2004 a Russian banker Nikolai Smolenski, bought the company for rumoured price of £15 million. After several false starts - most known new TVR Cerbera with diesel engine... - he decide that is now longer interested in building cars.
So Smolenski sold back to the Brits the rights to make TVR cars and components, to use existing designs and manufacture components for existing cars. The new owners interests are located near London, involving a company fronted by a Mr Les Edgar, a Surrey-based entrepreneur.
