Video: Aston Martin V12 Vantage S 573 hp

The most Extreme Aston Martin in History

[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u30wBkK7u6g]
The V12 Vantage was an unprecedented engineering achievement. Combining a V12 engine with Aston Martin's lightest sports-car in a package of pure aggression.  An even lighter chassis, an even more powerful engine, an even more responsive transmission. V12 Vantage S – the most ferocious Aston Martin ever produced.

V12 Vantage S... In numbers

An advanced engineering story told by monumental numbers. 15kg lighter than V12 Vantage. 573PS of power. 620Nm of peak torque. With enhanced low and mid-range power the new-generation AM28 engine pushes the V12 Vantage S to a top speed of 205mph, creating the fastest series production model we’ve ever made.

Transmission

Sportshift III, a new seven-speed AMT transaxle gearbox specifically designed to tap the potency of V12 Vantage S. Seamless gear changes at high engine speeds. Advanced light-touch paddleshifts giving maximum driver control as both hands remain on the wheel. A transmission derived from the Vantage GT programme brings motorsport engineering and race-car capability to the road.

Easy Start

Great design marries materials, technology and usability. V12 Vantage S introduces ‘Easy-Start’. Using the iconic real-glass Aston Martin ‘Emotional Control Unit’, Easy-Start means you don’t have to depress the unit to start the engine. The same tactility, the same feel, now even easier.

Improved Agility

The controlled power of V12 Vantage S comes with revolutionary levels of response to driver input. Three-stage adaptive damping. All new carbon ceramic brakes. A unique track-mode with delayed anti-lock braking technology. This isn’t technology to aid the driver, it’s technology that puts the driver in control.

Extreme performance. Extreme styling. A bold new carbon fibre grille marries design and engineering to improve airflow whilst defining a more aggressive front profile. New roof and rear graphics packs. Lightweight forged alloy wheels. All new interior finishes on seats, doors and controls. Never opulent but always dramatic the V12 Vantage S is tailored for a visceral driving experience.

Video: Dubai's Police Supercars Fleet...

Where do we sign up to work for the Dubai's Police...?

In the clip, we see a 426hp Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe, a 660hp V12-powered Ferrari FF and the 350km/h (218mph) Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, but that's not the entire fleet, as according to GulfNews, the dream-team of Dubai's cop cars also includes an Aston Martin One-77 (yes, one of 77 made!), a Bentley and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG!

Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police, told the news site that the department upgraded their fleet of sports and super cars after the greatly positive response from the worldwide public when the first Lamborghinis hit the road in police-livery.

“Those cars will be used for road security in different areas of Dubai,” he said, adding that they will be dispatched to tourists arrears and won't be chasing thieves, as “Dubai is a safe oasis for residents and tourists and we want each and every one to enjoy our city.”
